The MRI project was designed primarily for hospital/institutional use. It was made in conjunction with a medical technician from Phoenix, who came up with the idea that we’ve been able to turn into a reality.
The idea for the project was to create a system that would reduce the number of MRI related accidents and injuries caused by implants or other foreign objects within the body. An MRI machine contains a strong magnet that can be very harmful to a patient with any sort of metal within the body. That’s why this system was created. This system also reduces the amount of time a doctor needs to see if a patient is allowed to safely access the MRI in life threatening circumstances.
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a device that is used for imaging of internal organs and structures of the body. MRI gives different information and can show problems within the body that traditional imaging (x-ray, ultrasound, CT scan) is not able to.
The development for the project required a very precise and detailed approach –one that we at Software Nation are accustomed to. First, we designed project plan that encompassed all of the details for this enormous undertaking. Next, our developers had to design and create a functional database that would store such crucial information. Then to create a “smart” platform that would provide doctors with the correct information regarding a foreign bodies/implants safety within the MRI scanner. Finally, the design is what pulls everything together for the project. The design is simple yet modern, but fits well with theme and is user friendly; which is the most important factor.
